Celebrate the season with Frederick County’s young musicians at Beans and Dreams! The Holiday Café Recital brings together music, giving, and connection, with performances, student volunteer opportunities, and a silent auction that make a difference for Nektario’s Foundation.
The Holiday Café Recital invites students of all ages and levels to share festive music in a relaxed community setting at Beans and Dreams, a cozy Middletown coffee shop. Family, friends, and community guests can enjoy live performances while savoring hot drinks, pastries, and holiday treats.
This event will be featured on social media and in Middletown Magazine’s November and January issues. It’s designed as a community-connecting celebration, encouraging middle and high school students to earn volunteer service hours through participation.

COMMUNITY CONNECTION
While music fills the café, guests are invited to explore the adjoining Trolley House Market, offering a wonderful assortment of Christmas and holiday gifts.
Beans and Dreams will also host an Open House featuring a silent auction (in person and online) and a raffle benefiting Nektario’s Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to helping young adults with disabilities attain independence, purpose, and joy.

REGISTRATION, GUIDELINES & REPETOIRE
- Holiday or festive selections encouraged but not required.
- Intermediate and advanced students especially encouraged to join.
- Teachers are warmly invited to perform.
- Time Limit: Up to 5 minutes total (multiple short pieces allowed).
- Dress: Festive attire encouraged, not required
- Memorization: Encouraged but optional
- Teacher Presence: Teachers entering students should plan to attend and assist as needed.
Registration Deadline: November 23, 2025
Teachers: please collect parent consent using the printable form, then submit student details through the online registration.
